Energy certificate for robotics in the automotive industry
Comparability, especially in the area of energy requirements, is playing an increasingly important role. The "Energy certificate for industrial robots in car body construction" was developed because the connection with the practical application must also be taken into account in a standardized evaluation in order to generate added value when selecting suitable systems. With its help, the 6-axis articulated robots used in large numbers, mainly in car body construction, can be compared in terms of energy consumption and manufacturer- and model-specific potentials can be identified.
